Have you the burning desire to learn about radio? Have you desperately want to know the inner workings of a radio station?

If you are passionate about radio/media and are willing to dedicate genuine effort and time to keep our station ticking, we would love to fuse you into our team!

The positions available are:

 

Live Deejay Crew

Want to know the real experience of being part of a radio station? Then join the Live Deejays in being the voices of Radio Pulze!

  • Lots of passion and enthusiasm. To fit in with our dynamic and fun loving team, you'll need lots of energy.
  • A willingness to learn and experiment. Training is provided for related skills and equipment, but some things can't be taught…
  • Wit. Not 100% necessary, but quick minds are always an advantage.



Productions Crew

If you’re interested in being part of a team that produces engaging, thought-provoking radio programmes for NUS radio, this is your niche!

  • Training for the use of sound recording/editing software/equipment will be provided.

  • Applicants should be dedicated and creative individuals who are vitally interested in producing radio programmes that the NUS populace wants to hear.

 

Special Effects (SFX) Crew

Are you bursting with creative ideas for radio jingles and advertisements? We want you!

  • Training for the use of sound recording/editing software/equipment will be provided.

  • Applicants should be dedicated and creative individuals who are passionate about producing creative/interesting radio commercials.



Broadcast Journalists

Do you have a nose for news? Be part of our news team!

  • Training for the use of sound recording/editing software/equipment will be provided.

  • Applicants should be independent individuals who can work on their own and be interested in covering breaking news and events (especially on campus).

  • Broadcast journalists will create their own news/interview clips to be aired on Radio Pulze. They will also script news pieces to be read on air during news segments.



Music Team


If you are an ardent fan of music and would like to have a direct impact on managing the kind of music Radio Pulze plays, here is your chance!

  • Training will be provided on how to set/manage the daily playlist of songs to be broadcast.

  • Applicants should be informed listeners of music (e.g. aware of the hottest local and international tracks).

  • Applicants should be interested in spotting local music talents for Radio Pulze to feature on air.



Human Resource Unit


Interested in the human aspects of managing a radio station cum crew? This role is perfect for you!

  • Applicants should be vitally interested in looking after the manpower and welfare needs of Radio Pulze crew members.

  • Applicants should also be interested in managing the future recruitment campaigns of Radio Pulze.



Marketing & Publicity


If you wish to manage the marketing and publicity aspect of a media organization like ours, join us!

  • Applicants should be dedicated and creative individuals who are passionate about handling and shaping effective publicity campaigns for Radio Pulze.



Events Management

Would you like to be part of an efficient team that handles and oversees events and functions involving the crew? Look no further!

  • Applicants should be interested in coordinating with groups that require the services/support of Radio Pulze.

  • Applicants should be passionate about handling the aspects of events management (e.g. planning, required manpower, necessary logistics etc.)



Technical Support

Are you tech-savvy or simply a fan of gadgets and the latest computer software? We welcome you aboard!

  • Applicants should have an IT background dealing with computers and computer software (especially Mackintoshes)

  • Applicants should be vitally interested in handling the technical aspects of making a radio station function.

  • Will be a bonus if applicants have prior knowledge in creative design/maintenance of websites.
